Woodstock Wolverine Band Boosters, Inc.

Welcome to the Woodstock Wolverine Band Boosters, Inc. The booster organization meets on the second Thursday of July and February at 7:00 PM in the Woodstock High School band room. Please plan to attend as these important twice yearly meetings are MANDATORY.

You do not sign up to be a member, and there are no dues. All parents, guardians, grandparents, etc. of students involved in the band program are automatically members of WWBB and the Woodstock Band Family. WWBB is vital to the operation of the band program. The program’s success depends on student and parental commitment, time and resources. Our directors and staff are dedicated, talented and hard-working mentors, but they need our help and support, as do our young musicians.

Our Executive Committee for the Woodstock Wolverine Band Boosters, Inc. is always available to answer any questions you have about the programs. Our officers – President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary are listed here. We also have four appointed positions to the EC, our Directors, which are also listed. There are monthly Executive Committee Work Sessions that are open to the public and all members are highly encouraged to attend.

The Woodstock Wolverine Band Boosters, Inc. (WWBB) is a non-profit, 501c3 tax-exempt organization that exists to support the band programs at Woodstock High School.

Robert Mitchell

Robert Mitchell

President

Robert has been with the program for 4 years with his daughter Katie. During that time, he has been a chaperone, prop-dad and our vice-president. He coordinated our equipment to Ireland and collaborates with Mr. Loehr, Mr. Doyle and Michael Terry on our props. His daughter Anna is a freshman…and he has a 7th grader coming.

Dan Young

Dan Young

Vice President

Dan was with the band for 4 years from 2010 – 2014. During that time, he was a big part of the Prop-Dads, including providing one of our diesels to tow our heavy trailers. Dan returned to us in 2015 with his freshman daughter Mary Ann. His leadership made sure everything was hustled into place before each show performance, including going into the stands to recruit additional parents.

Karman Skeens

Karman Skeens

Treasurer

Karman is the incumbent Treasurer. She has been with the program for 4 years with her daughter Payton. Her son Will is coming into the program in 2016. Karman has been an active chaperone and in 2015 stepped up to take on the role of Treasurer when our long-time treasurer’s last child graduated. She has put in very long hours in mentoring with our previous treasurer and has worked some very long hours to implement additional changed that the executive committee asked for in order to provide better transparency and oversight to our finances.

Shara Harris

Shara Harris
